Thanks! Except for all the rebuilding I had to do, it was a great kit to build, and has really nice detailing. What can I say, I love the weird kits ?.

Thanks again for the compliments, they are much appreciated. And thanks for that website link, Starship Trooper. I tried to buy as many of the Orguss series kits as I could find, but they are pretty rare it seems. Might be easier to find in Japan, or maybe they will get reissued ??. I really like building the anime kits from the 1980s, as they take a little TLC to look good.

I seriously doubt that the Orguss kits will be reissued, but there is another option! In the 1980s, Revell imported a punch of robot model kits (Dougram, Macross, Orguss, etc.) under the line 'Robotech'. This Robotech model-kit line has no relation to the TV show by Harmony Gold of the same name, other than the logo. Maybe instead of searching for 'Orguss Kits' on eBay, search 'Robotech Kits'. There is a chance that the Orguss-derived kits will show up!

Thanks for the tip. I do have one of the Robotech kits - the Eyevan robot transporter. I think this Ishforn was called the Exaxes in the Robotech line?

Yes, to my knowledge the Ishforn was brought over to the U.S. as Exaxes.
