Ooh. The molded details looks very nice I think.

Yep. The kit is amazingly detailed. However, I'm struggling with some of the photo etched parts... I find it quite difficult for example to bend nice curves into the lamp protecting structure. But still this is an amazing kit. Can't wait to start to paint it.

I imagine you can bend photo etch in two ways. One is to roll over the PE with a round object, until the plate starts to curve. The other, finding a tool for the purpose, or some other cylinder of proper dimensions to bend the PE around. Presumably, it is a good idea to have a flush and non-soft working mat/pad, and not try rolling PE over some soft or dented surface.
