Matt SmurfmmThis kit has been more of a bear than I anticipated. Lots of putty, and missing details like the ECS slots. Should have done better homework and gone with a newer tooling of the plane.

Matt SmurfmmSorry I should have written some closing thoughts on this one. Got it done and gave it to my friend as he was leaving the unit. I almost screwed up the whole model with panel line detail at the end. The Testors Gloss coat I used didnt put down the varnish that I needed and I left the panel line on too long. When I went to wipe it off it was semi permanent and I scrubbed so hard I went down to plastic in spots. Some creative brushwork mostly saved things, but nearly disaster. Satin varnish to seal it and I think it was very well received. Also I screwed up the color of the missiles...I should have remembered low vis grey.
