Thanks James. The camo will be from Russian Expo Arms 2011. Warm Sand-Yellow as a base with big green and small brown patches.
Same as on the masks that are added to the project. 🙂

Thank you Michael. The kit is very nice with very good fit and without any issues. The build was almost OOB, only the barrels and the tow cables were changed.

Started with the painting. Warm Sand-Yellow A.Mig 061 was used as a base color. Masking the tank was a pain in the *** especially the turret. Took my about 3 hours to mask the whole model. 😠
I used Tamiyas Field Grey for the green as it looks more authentic then the Russian Green that MENG suggest in the instruction. The usual russian green is nowhere near the color of the real tank.

Ah the blu-tac and Tamiya tape method, don't you love it for masking. I'll be doing similar with my PzH 2000 Howitzer, you did I nice neat job masking her up. Can't wait to see her with the green on.👍

Thank you mate. I need to do some touch ups with the brush as not all the patches have round ends. Some of them came out way too square. 😄
I think of building the PzH 2000 as one of the next builds after i finished this one an the current T-72B ERA build. My will be in ISAF camo. 🙂

Forgot to take some pictures with only green camo. Remembered when i was already half way through the masking. Did some touch ups on the green patern. Now it looks much better. 🙂
I used Ochre-Brown from Ammo MIG for the second camo color as the suggested Model Air 71.026 USA Flat Brown was way to dark.
Detail painting and minor improvments of the brown patches wil be done tomorrow.

Thank you mate. 🙂 I finished the detail painting today and will give it a coat of varnish tomorrow. There are no decals for this vehicle so i can start the weathering process soon.

Finished this one today. The model received an overall diluted tan for 3 tone camo filter. OIF grim streaks and european earth pigments.
