Thank you guys and welcome on board. 🙂
The build was straight out of the box without any issues.
Putty was used only at three spots: near the exhaust, the upper hull where the both parts meet together and the area around the gun mantlet. There will be a notable gap when you glue the mantlet to the turret.
The kit is a mix of all Trumpeter T-80s and some new spures for the T-84. The lower hull is from the T-80BVD, the wheels and suspension are from T-80B and some parts from T-80BV. The upper hull, exhaust and turret are all new.
At the end you will have some parts left that are from the future release T-84 Oplot.
The tank already received the base coat and the hull its camo. I will post some new pictures tomorrow. 😄

Holy crap. Speedbuilder?😉 at this rate, you'll chew through your stash till I'm done with my current builds 😄 😄
Looks awesome! What's the finish going to be like?

Hehe. 😄 Not that fast. I started the build while i was painting and weathering the Jagdpanther.
Right now i am trying not to buy any more kits but somehow its not working. Ordere the 2S19 from Trumpeter yesterday..... I have to minimize my stash to get some new kits that will be realease soon. 😄
With this kit you have two choises: One form the parade and one with a three tone camo. I will go with the three tone camo. Here the right one: [img1]

Nice choice. A bland green isnt a challenge after all😉
Colors look about the same I'll be doing on the 59, only the pattern differs 🙂
The ever growing stash... Yeah... Somehow one always finds yet another gem to get. My last acquisitions were planes only though. Gotta take a break from tracks from time to time😉

Yeah sometimes you really need a break from the tracked vehicles or modern tanks. Right now i am trying to do some kind of a building circle: Modern vehicles - wheeled vehicles - WW2 vehicles. Maybe i will add an jet/plane to the circle. 😄

Yep. I'm slow :'D
Looks nice. Are you going to get hefty with weathering on this one?

Thank you Rene and Murad.
@Rene: I will (try to) do a subtle weathering on this one. Dust and a little bit of accumulated dirt. Some sctraches and chipping here and there.

The colors are Green Khaki A.Mig-056 for the base, Tamiya Buff for the brights spots and nato black.
Unfortunately the pictures were done in the evening with artificial light and Buff looks like cream white then a sandy color.

Great work, the colour cast from lights works well. Dont know much about vehicle, looks very modern. I have so many build circles i never close the circle
