Thanks Spanjaard. Hopefully the decals are still ok as this kit has been in my stash for quite some time.

Tamiya decals are usually good, so it should be ok, hopefully.
good luck with those decals, lots of work ahead with them, for the looks of the artwork 🙂

The decals were ok and settled great with the help of Mark Setter. But I made a mistake by masking over it when painting the windows sills. Some unfortunately came off when I pulled the masking tape😉 I thought the clear coat can protect them from masking and I was wrong..
Well, lesson learned, next time paint the window sills before you put the decals on 😄

if it makes you feel better, i made the same mistake with my current model... after several (very thin) layers of future, and after letting it cure for several days, and after seeing that apparently it was rock solid, used some tamiya take, and there it went part of one decal.....

no hope, certainty😉 next model will always be better, and if it is not, it is because it was a good learning experience 🙂
