looks great! Are you going to build a small base or diorama for it?

Never done that before, but yeah I was thinking the same after finishing it .. a base would be nice to help the observer recognize the subject at first glance, and also easier for me to build. Thanks : )

Album info

This is a near exact replica of a Syrian T-54 I saw on news, almost same colors, weathering, and stowage arrangement.

Kit Feedback:
Older Trumpeter T-45/55 kits have always been under judgement especially for inaccuracies and bad tracks.
But looking at the bright side this kit is very inexpensive (got it from aliexpress for $14.47 only incl. shipping!) so T-45/55 freaks can get a bunch of these for acceptable price.

Also this kit is great for bashing, compensation, and surgery uses because it has large number of unused parts. It has even TWO complete Dshk machine guns !!.

Also you'll find parts to build several variants of T-54 and T-55, also parts for Type 59 and Type 69 are included.

The plastic is so strong that you'll need hot blade to remove the tiny parts from sprue, also I wasn't able to bend fenders even having them dipped in boiled water!.

Now speaking about tracks, yes they aren't the best and they're known for not being responsive to cement or super glue, but I was able to glue them using UH
