Superstructure Details

During the last week I not only found time to start another project but also I could make some progress on my HMS Indefatigable. While looking at the pictures displayd in Ian Johnston´s book again and again I noticed some more details concerning the midship and foreward superstructure.
I rebuild the square boat stowage from Evergreen and glued them into position. For handling the boats there were on each side short but bilky masts with booms attached. The booms have a supporting stanchion when stowed. Therefore I cut metals rods from 0,3mm diameter into length and placed them in the line of the booms.
Around the foreward funnel I found racks located next to the searchlights. I cut 1,5x4mm Evergreen to simulate them. Small plates from 0,25mm styrene glued to their frontsides give them some more details.
On the inside of the breakwater are some hawsers located which I made by using 0,88mm rods.
