As proposed I found some time to go on with the build of my BC. First of all I painted the main turrets and the funnels and also applied a coat of clear varnish for weathering. On the turrets I also already did some washing to get an imagination of how it would look like later.
But the main thing I did today was errecting the masts. For the after one I could build the whole tripod in this stage, the forward got only the bigger diameter because first I will have to paint the deck below then glue the bridge deck upon it and then add the inclined parts of the tripod.
On the inclined ones was some adjustion needed but then they fitted very well. I decided to use the resin starfish because the Combrig PE is very thin, soft and flexible and I fear it will can not hold the tension of the fishing line later. There were also 2 PE plattforms to be glued between the legs and they got some railing.
