Album info

In the Combrig instruction there is only said how long you have to cut the steam pipes but it?s not exactly named where they have to be fitted. According to the wonderful book "Clydebank Battlecruisers" by Ian Johnston besides R.A. Burts "British Battleships of WWI" I allocated the different pipes. Into to the band around the lower part of the funels I drilled holes with 0,8mm diamater. Then I glued the pipes into them. As a small spacer for the upper part of the pipes I used different Evergreen materials with the width needed.
Next step was to glue the aft superstructure in position. I also used Super Glue to fill the gap and grinded it smooth. According to the books mentioned before I attached the small triangular plattforms to the deck edges. The positions were indicated by the length of railing which I took from Alliance Model Works WWII RN Warship Set.
The ladders also come from this company but this time from IJN Ladders. They are prepainted because I used them for another project earlier. Indeed the c
