Cool box art, worthy of a frame 

Something looks off... 

Dammit! It's missing half the parts because they duplicated three trees. I guess this project is on hold. Let's see how good Round2 customer service is.

Primer. This kit has a very low parts count, should be a quick build.

Trying to show how badly warped this chassis is. It's also paper thin. Hopefully hot water will fix it.

First time using velocity stacks. Need some chrome touch up.  

This is what happens when a part is not washed. 

Trying to get the twist out of this paper thin chassis. This didn't work so I used the hot water method. 

Making sure the wheels are square. 

Engine done. 

 

We got a roller. 

Interior tub done.  

 

Street exhaust and header dumps finished. 

I tried to do some wet sanding and destroyed the paint job. In the brake fluid it goes.  

Back in primer, like it never happened.  

Going to use the orange as the base and see if that works better.  

After 2 days air drying it still felt sticky so I figured I'd try the dehydrator. 

After a few hours it came out very shiney but still felt sticky.  

Another overnight in open air and I tried to clean it before applying some pearl clear and paint came off with alcohol wipes.  

I figured I'd shoot some clear anyway. Instant paint boil. Back in the stripper again. This kit is trying to become wall art. 

Primer and then base color for the 3rd time.  

Secondary color.... 

I quick shot some good tamiya pearl clear on the orange and was able to unmask in about an hour.  

Nice. 

I did notice a small fingerprint after unmasking.  

But it is what it is. 

Found some 1/32" chrome pin stripe to divide the colors. 

Window tint applied and "glass" in. Almost done. 

Well, it happened. Didn't realize I had super glue on a finger tip as I was gluing the body to the chassis and spoiled the roof.  

I did what I could to fix it. 

Applied chrome pin stripe at the color lines and black pin stripe at the bottom.  

 

 

I did nothing there it's never going to a show. 

 

 

It's done enough.
