Mate, I've saved much worse, clear parts. However, it's a bit nerve racking and you can't believe what you're actually doing! It involves sanding with various grit paper. Alclad do a little set, and it's worth every penny.

Luckily Jezza's truck has these large flat black painted lines on the windows. So not much salvaging needed.
