First round of cleaning.
For this I don't want to use the cleaning station. I don't think they would survive the strong water vortex. 

Cockpit part looks nice. It has such a cool shape.

Still a larva. Hopefully it'll turn into a beautiful dragonfly in the end.  

Considering adding some tactical markings and numbers.
Airframe will be painted grey and i'll try some dusting. Lot of sand on Arrakis. 

Finally, the joints are printed. Cleanup and curing to do.
Quality looks very good so far but the test fits will show if that really is the case.
I also printed the retracted landing gear, because I want to try out displaying it in flight. 

Wings glued together. Some more cleanup necessary.
Right now I use superglue for filling, not sure if that is the best material fot it.
Some sanding and priming will show me.

Test fitting the wings. Pretty impressive wingspan, despite the scale. 

Left most part was not cured in direct sunlight.
The ones that became a bit yellow were left some time in the sunlight.
The yellowing is pretty obvious but doing it this way can be used to your advantage if you want to make a tinted canopy. 

Parts put in cleaning alcohol and then in some water. 

These parts became very clouded. In the end I did not use them. Silly me removed the supports before I dipped them in polyurethan varnish which made it impossible to get a nice coat and leave them to dry/cure.

Dipped in polyurethane gloss coat. No extra cleaning or curing. Looks better but I am not satisfied yet.
