Desk cleared and cleaned in anticipation of the build 

Defining colors (translating Tamiya to Vallejo)

This is an adhesive metal sticker stuck to the bottom of this plastic overlay. I'm lining it up... 

...and stick it down! Fiddly and requires tweezers and nearsighted vision but I got 'em!

After several light coats of Tamiya spray paint the body is ready... 

...as are its other component parts 

Front of window spray painted and grille painted black to dirty it up a bit 

Putting together body parts. Scraping off areas for dabs of glue. 

Ahh... The unique joy of a part that fits just perfectly. Cheers, Tamiya. 

This was fun. A tiny metal sticker to fit around the light. Needle nose tweezers, held breath, it went on pretty easily, actually. A rare case when my otherwise humiliating nearsightedness was actually a help! 

Headlight assembled. Clear plastic part glued in with some thinned PVA. 

Edge delicately scratched off for gluing 

Mating edge cleaned off as well 

Glued from the back. Tamiya Reverse Action Straight Tweezers helped immensely in placing the piece precisely. tamiya.com/english/p..t_tweezers/index.htm 

She's in! Forgive the cat hair. It will all get dusted soon enough 🙂
