Toon KV-2

Used some lead wire to make bent handrails.  

I think the highlights look good & add to the toon effect.  

 

 

 

Decals, oil filters, mud, and streaking.  

 

Airbrush weather! Matte applied, pigments next.  

 

I might have gone a little heavy on the rust, but it'll tone down after a final shot of matte. 

What do you guys use to fix pigment? This oily spot was caused by my fixer (smells like enamel thinner to me). 

 

This translates to “kaboom” from Russian. I thought this would really add to the toon character. Still have a bit of cleanup on the flag.  

I thought this silly little hill would accentuate the cartoonishness of the tank.
