It will look nice on your shelf. Unsure what kind of stand the Bandai kit have. Mine is unbuilt. Already built the FineMolds one, which has its stand. I sprayed my stand black + gloss coat + gunmetal.

I had 100 bits of masking tape on my FineMolds kit for the clear parts. 🙂 Worth it!

Later on, or, if you have some money to burn, there is also the 1:72 falcon from Bandai. 🙂 They say that the 'perfect grade' one is based on the very fist movie model, which supposedly has a more curved shape than the later models iirc.
