Come on Tamiya look at those awful ejector pins! 

Interior primed in Vallejo Black primer 

Work on underside and undercarriage bay 

Interior colours done. Vallejo Model Air 71.107 Yellow Chromate 71.305 Interior Grey Green and some XF-16 Flat Aluminium. Gloss tomorrow before black wash and detail painting. 

Warming my TS-13 to spray on the cockpit before a wash! 

Dry fit no glue or tape! 

A little dry fit! love the Zinc Chromate! 

 

First dark wash on. Bit of detail painting and dry brushing next 

Cockpit done. Dry brushing and pigments finish it off 

 

 

Just need to find some spare PE seat belts  

 

Eduard Seat Belts on! 

New jig! Should be good with decals and weathering 

Bit of sprue glue on the seems! 

Dry fitting the canopy. Need to sort top set first!

Topside came coming on. Faded it a little 

Starting to look good! Need to paint up the flaps!

Decals started. My god Tamiya decals are terrible. Need shares in Microsol!!! 

Tamiya decals messed up. So had to scrape away and paint came with it! 

Xtradecal saves the day with a c1 roundel. Top notch! 

 

 

 

Think the mug says it all. Tamiya kits are amazing! Their decals are a pain in the bum! 

Whoops should be painting with the Metal Colour. Need to respray!

Undercarriage bits done, in the finishing straight! Just bombs painted exhaust stains and then done! 

Legs on just need clear coating and weathering. 

Looking good. Pleased with the exhaust staining. 

Exhaust Staining close up. Used Rotbraun, NATO Black, black and german grey highly thinned. 

Wing edges yellow 

Why did I use crappy masking tape? Took off some of the varnish 

Leading edges done!!!
