I aimed to model two things with this project: one of the few Pz III that were rebuilt from damaged Pz III J/L (rather than new hulls), and secondly I wanted to capture the look of these 501st vehicles in Tunisia that served alongside the famous Tiger I. The markings were part of the look, as was the unique cement bag armour on the hull front.
