Built the base in under 30 minutes 

My helper wouldn't budge

The "surface" of the cement slabs glued into place. 

Primed the diorama base. 

Painted the basic colour of each concrete slab in the temporary English airfield.

Uh oh, part 22, the truck bed is missing from my Dodge kit. Looks like I am getting into scratch modelling sooner than I expected, green stuff has been ordered.

I managed to find a 1:72 fence STL. Using this style of fence along the runway is a bit of artistic license, but I can't resist. I have been trying to find fencing since I started this dio.
