The fuselage of this kit is made up of 4 sides, but the seam line doesn't line up correctly for all of them. The top and bottom parts had to be cut at the centre seam and be sanded a bit to correctly line up with the side parts
The reference I'm using shows the stripes on the fuselage to be red/white, rather than blue/white as per the decals. I therefore removed the blue sections and made some replacements with red decal stripes
Main subsections put together and decals all applied. The Roden decals were terrible - I ended up replacing the side crosses and white stripes as the kit ones wouldn't settle down. The wing crosses only settled with the strongest decal softener I had (some old Poly Scale stuff)

Robert Podkoński I know the pain, Uwe - once I built PZL.P.1 resin kit from Arma Hobby... nevertheless, your model really looks good and this silvering is hardly noticeable 😉
Uwe Kaeding Thanks. Robert, I've built 4 Junkers planes now, both Roden D.I's, the Pegasus Cl.I and the Eduard J.I. The only one I didn't get any silvering was the J.I - probably due to better quality Eduard decals. Anyway the silvering on this one is actually less noticeable in real life than in the photos!
