How everything started out. Originally it was to be just the JGSDF LAV and Type 10, but then I found out about Tamiya's 1:48 M1A2, which quickly wound up being added into the mix.
...Reaper Miniature's Toghra definitely doesn't seem like he'd fit very well in the commander's cupola (and definitely doesn't once it's built, at least without a bit of assistance!)
A "bit" of trimming to the one that was originally wielding a polearm but is being put into service as the driver - the shorter ones may not be as strong, but on the flipside someone has to be small enough to not only get in, but also hotwire the vehicle...
Initial goal was to hollow out the driver's hand and then have it look like he's holding onto the steering wheel. Feels like a minor detail, but on the other hand it could be visible through the windows, so why not. He will also get the leather "skirt" and legs re-sculpted at some point to fit into the LAV a lot better.
"What if gnolls got their hands on a tank" kind of evolved into "they stole two tanks and a LAV". Initial pictures are somewhat rough due to being hastily taken, but hopefully will at least show some of the build progress!
