I'm waiting to get my hands on this in Australia! Whats the story with the laser cannons? Not painted? I thought this whole thing was pre-painted?
I see the front cockpit seats appear to be painted brown instead of light tan and the console looks to be a different shape to what I've seen of the full size prop? Maybe this model portrays the 32inch studio model and not the full size prop they act the scenes out in?

@Glenn: If my infos are right, you will get some colors later to paint the Falcon. And it's right, some details are different, but if you like, you can make some corrections by your own. Here is a link to a German build group with some builds: phoxim.de/forum/index.php?board=129.0 You can see some corrections. I decide to build my Falcon most from the box, but I will paint the cannons later. Also I plan to make the seats a little bit in used look. Time will tell 🙂

Look forward to seeing your build TWN. I'm also doing a 29inch Hasbro Falcon with many added 3D printed parts plus lighting and Mp3 player for sound effects. You can see it in my Albums section! 🙂

How's the Falcon Builds going guys? I only have the first three parts. And as I have it sent to me I won't see any more until next month. I'm getting four parts once a month. So until I get a few issues I was waiting until I had a bit to go on with. But there's not much you can do until you get a few issues! I will make some changes along the way too. Not too happy about the bare die cast parts was hoping it would be all painted so the colour all matches. I'm guessing the die cast will need some kind of undercoat for the paint to stick well too?

Looks great, I never considered using coloured pencils for weathering.

Pencils are very helpfull in much cases and the floor is made prom paper, so it is the best choice.
I don't have special plans, I follow most the parts from DeAg and looking sometimes to pictures from the movie or my books and decide then.

What is the average time for that a model to wait from purchase to construction? 😉 two years is not so bad in that regards 🙂
