You model looks incredible! I am new to this site and like many back to modeling after a long time. Would you say Crazy Modeller detail up set is better than the Tamiya one (sure looks that way)? Also where do you source the detail up set?

The crazy modeller set is good. It comes with parts to suit several kits (different grilles and disks). I think I got it from BNA Model World in Australia. The Nismo kit comes with extra wheels and brake disks so I ended up with a lot of useful spares.
This car was supposed to be purple but I badly misjudged the paint mix. The paint surface is rough like a cat's tongue and the clear isn't polished. The front wheels lean outwards to 🙁
Somehow the camera was very forgiving and the pics don't look that bad.

Thanks for the reply. Somehow I missed it for a bit. Well I'd say the misjudged paint mix still landed on a nice color. The sanding and polishing of the clear coat is something I still have a hard time with. If the clear is semi even and nice looking I am extremely hesitant to attack it with a wetsand!
Are you Australian based? I have looked over the last few weeks and it seems near impossible to get some of these detail up kits or decal sets. Shipping from the sites I do find is as much as the car it at times. Seems a bit crazy. I am a bit shocked that a country this big and with as many modelers that we don't have a better source for these very nice extra detail kits.

Yeah, I'm in Melbourne. I suspect some of the detail and decal kits are made in very small batches. I try to buy from Aussie seller where possible. I've had luck asking the manufacturers directly for recommendations of where to buy stuff.
