The Boxart of this kit really brings back childhood memories, I think it was in the 1977 catalogue
which I „read" so many times that I knew it by heart…..
It is really astounding how dainty these BMW police bikes looked in those days, compared to contemporary ones, which are almost unrecognizable under all that stuff being stuck to them…..
Great to see what a skilled modeler can achieve with an ancient kit like this, great work so far !👍

Hey Hanno ! thanks for your comments !!! this a real 1977 revell kit, bought on ebay...
to be honnest i bought the 2020 kit 2 years ago but the day i receveid the package i found the 1977 kit on ebay ! so i returned the brand new to acheive the original kit, little differences, but the work is even better to do, only one thing : decals were completly yellow and cracked, a chance the bmw logo were enough ok to be placed. I won't finish it as a police bike, i m more into a colored r75… Have a good one 🙂

I built a part started '73 Revell blue street version of this 2 years ago, I didn't do anywhere near as nice a job tho 👍
