Best wishes for the new year to all... Some progress with this one, after a long time, it was finally time to paint this baby... will soon start to paint the details so I can add all the tools etc... Been looking for references, but it seems like the fire extinguisher, tools etc.. were more not mounted then mounted on this vehicle...

My first attempt at chipping... now it's good to restrain myself, don't want it to resemble a rustbucket that pretends to be operational...

tried the oil-dot method, worked good on the turret, the hull is something different... getting some nasty spots over there....
so I have 2 questions:
1: what can be done to avoid this in the future
2: How to solve this.

Oversprayed the front and damaged parts. Pics up soon. Also did an attempt to dust the spare wheel... example looks promising to me (where did we hear that before... ). Tried this for starters: scaledracula.com/how..iUdRo21wUf2toThHsXRk

It's looking good Bart.
Have you tried some white spirit on the dots? Normally before using oils I seal the base with gloss varnish. So never had this problem.

Bart. I saw your build on the Takom FB site. As good as one would expect from you mate. Great from all angles. 👍 🙂

Thx mates, I'm happy with it. At Nathan, I've found it a well engineered kit, that builds as a breeze. Just protect the handle above the door (left) very good, because it snaps easily, and it is on a place where you will want to hold the model.
