for the upper side, i used gunze colours ( hobby colours) and the excellent masks set from LF models.
I've made a review on Large scale modeller 8forum.largescalemode..e-painting-mask-172/) if you would like to read with more detail.
They work flawless and if necessary i can reused them 🙂
All painting process took me 1 week ( working at night ) and i enjoyed the end result.
