Sorry to hear about your tanks, Ken. I've heard nothing but bad news, about Rustoleum clear. Thankfully, we don't have it over here, but I've had the same thing happen, with a cheap clear, I once used. Basically, it was too hot, for the paint. This kit reminds me very much of my Hideout Truck, but the frame is longer on mine. I did enjoy the build though, despite it being a bit of work. Keep going mate, you're doing an awesome job! Remember to test fit all the plumbing, before you commit to glue? It's a lot of fingers and thumbs! Just find that easiest way for you and use the directions as a guide, not the bible. 👍

Those interior additions look excellent mate! Perfect job on the decals too. They look excellent, on the white body. I'm loving everything, that I'm seeing here 👍

Looks amazing. The aluminium foil is a heat shield in the engine bay?

Great looking model. The scheme you chose (decals and paints) is beautiful. Must get me one of these.

Thanks all for the comments. Aluminum foil is a heat shield yes. Back in the day they did that. My daughter, who has exceptional color vision, picked the colors when I showed her the decals. I, myself, am colorblind but even so it looks absolutely awesome. This was the 2002 release and I'm not sure what decals the new release comes with. This was the easiest truck kit I've ever built. Everything just went together absolutely no fight. I'm going to have to get a couple of this year's release.

She's excellent mate, congratulations!
Definitely get yourself a Hideout Truck and build it, without the rear bed. You'll be amazed at the size! It kinda gives you an opportunity to add tool storage behind the cab, maybe a hydraulic crane, or just the stretch looks? I'm going to grab a couple myself.
Any thoughts on your next semi, Kenneth?

Back to my roots with this build. I'm not going to do any modifications, just box stock. Heck, with a semi truck kit box stock is enough.
