Stepping away from the world of cars and bikes and diving into the realm of mecha modelling was an exciting challenge. This build, the Aile Strike Gundam, was my introduction to the intricate world of Gundam models, and I aimed to do it justice. The kit itself is packed with detail, but I took it further with SMS White Pearl, SMS Electric Blue, and SMS Raspberry to bring the suit to life.

Rather than a pristine, factory-fresh finish, I weathered it to give it the gritty, battle-worn look of a true Gundam warrior. The weathering techniques involved adding layers of grime, scratches, and some slight fading to give it that lived-in, war-torn feel. It was a fun departure from my usual builds, and I’m happy with how it came out—a fresh new addition to my collection.
