Han Solo's speeder

Solo: A Star Wars story.. 

The color seemed much darker in the bottle 

I really could not match the correct color, but I like it 

I was aiming for a much darker blue, but I’ll settle for a nice paint job  

No issues with needle drying.. yet
Vallejo Air white, right over the black.. 

Partial assembly, metallics added to exposed parts. Some engine work 

This kit came with only stickers instead of decals for the white racing stripes. Thanks Revell 

I try and wait until the end before I activate the lights and sound effects.. not this time. Big smile though.. 🙂 

 

 

Nice details on the figure except it’s a very waxy plastic, hard to sand scrape or cut, like that old Airfix stuff 

Couldn’t quite get the zenithal highlights I was looking for, and ugh! those ugly seems.. and then the splatter…. the splatter 🙁 

I had to redo Han’s primer. Had some needle drying issues causing some splatter, and I cleaned the mold lines better
The windshield trim came out ok 

Build complete.
