Thanks Bart. I'm using them in the floor of the box and between the side armor. I was just going to just do plain wood color and got carried away

Bart I know there are resin kits done that way. I planned on that also. I did learn guys on M113s put wood across the seats adding space and saving weight.
I starting thinking since I know wood was used on the back side of the armor why not the floor? Since the M35 would get over loaded as a gun truck, why won't a crew try some weight saving?
I can still go back to ammo boxes. I really wanted see what the wood would look like. I'm happy you and Markus spoke up. Maybe I should make up some ammo boxes and take pictures with them. Then I can do side by side.
