Aunt Lucy's House

My first completed HO scale structure for my son's layout, this is Walthers Trains "Aunt Lucy's House". I wanted it to have a very grimy, run-down farmhouse feel. It is assembled basically straight out of box, with the exception of the chimney - I left off the elaborate cap and just put an open concrete liner in.

The house itself comes molded in this white with blue trim scheme, which I didn't change, beyond weathering it a bit with acrylic washes. I did add texture to the foundation/back steps and repainted that, as well as painting the brickwork on the chimney. Final weathering was done using AK weathering pencils.
