This is my first build after being absent from scale modeling for 35-years. What can be said about that fact?

Well, simply put, life happens. There's another old saying, "better late than never."

I'm not sure what will happen next but here goes. Crash and burn? Perhaps... Learn? Absolutely! Have fun? Without questions...

Considering that "13" is my lucky number and that I've always liked the P-40, the choice for my project was simple. I've selected the Special Hoppy # SH 72379, "P-40K-1/5 Warhawk | Short Fuselage" for this build.

I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you, and you're numerous, for inspiring me to not just collect but to start building again. I especially want to thank the creators of Scale Mates for providing the community with this wonderful tool. Happy New Year 2022!
