For this Melusine, I decided to add Zimmerit. I used 3M Acryl White glazing putty thinned with LOTS of Tamiya Extra Thin Quick Setting Type, textured with the Zimmerit applicators from Trumpeter. I also added metal mesh in place of the goofy plastic fake-mesh part over the engine fan, PE bezels around the ports on top at right & left (on the Kauz & Fliege, I use those for the port & starboard navigation lights), and a PE bezels around the extended upper left lens on the "face". I painted the backs of the lenses chrome, except for the extended upper left (metallic purple) and the targeter for the laser (clear red, then chrome behind that). The decals are a mix of factory stock Wave kit decals (stencils), Hasegawa kit decals (numbers and eyes), and aftermarket decals (monster mouth).
