Hi Berni. Happy new year to you to. The logo gave the brand away 😄

Tom ...
Looks like you are well on the way to doing more than 3 kits this year! My new year's resolution is to finish all the kits I started and not worry how good they turn out.

My problem is that people do such good work that I'm all out of superlatives. 🙂

Sorry for the long wait folks. My covid situation (it's not a flu!!!) sapped all my modelling energy. All work was done in december, but I figured it was time to let you see some stuff. 😄

Take care of yourself, Martin, and try to recharge those batteries bit by bit. Thanks for sharing though. Nothing worse than leaving a mystery unresolved!

There might be light at the end of the tunnel. I actually did some new stuff on this car today.

That black shiny alclad is a nice color. Looking good from my POV. Pity of the peeling effect on the front window

Lode, I guess black acrylic won't stick without primer. A can of Tamiya black lacquer is on its way.

Greg, it sure is. It reminds me of the old Kawasaki colours back in the day. It hurts the eyes, but it sure draws the eye!

The outside looks great, but I couldn't sit in that interior, I'd be so blinded I'd crash into things! But as I guess that is the look you were going for, you nailed it!

I think this is the perfect car to have, when you desperately want new neighbours 😄

Just waiting till I get a 3D printer then I'm planning to replicate the Cortina Mk4. I can pull a mould of the Pinto engine from a Mk3 mustang kit I have, and shouldn't be too hard to work out a ford saloon to donate a close enough Chassis. The interior won't too much of a problem, it had no back seats in it.

I admire your scratch building skills. I'm happy with improving on each build. This one is nearly done. The dumb mistake has been corrected

Martin, this mistery build is becoming a little gem. Nice paintjob and I see that the windows are in place 🙂

James is here! And just in time too, I just finished her.
Thanks for the compliments Lode and James. I'll take some better pictures when there is some sun around here

Does this only allow you to build it in right-hand drive without modifications? Nice work on it. Besides my Challenger, this is my dream car.

Finally the sun showed itself, and the wind of the last few days subsided. Take a peek here Completed Mitsubishi GTO | Album by Mahoo76 (1:24)
Chip, the kit supports right and left hand drive. Even the wipers are there for both variants.

It was time to tackle this car again. In the paint scheme I used it was a real eye sore in my cabinet and the car deserves better. So I present you once again: A mystery build!
I stripped the paint, obviously. The I removed the gills and side markers. I opened the hood scoops, front lower grill and side scoops. In the process I managed to crack the body in three different places. That's what glue is for?

I found the first result more than good, but you're the builder. Looking forward to see what you're gonna do in the new version. Knowing you, no doubt you'll improve your nice previous result

Dominik, no problems with the red bleeding through the surface.
Lode, to improve is what we're aiming for. The black basecoat already looks very good. Let's see what happens next?

After clear coating, polishing, waxing and assembly, she's once more completed. Now it's up to you guys to spot the flaws and the one big gaffe 😉

Well, Martin, I don't find any, but I'm not a car builder. This new two-tone color suits this car well. Congrats with the result
