This kit was a struggle from start till the end. You can watch the horror here WIP F-86 Sabre | Album by Mahoo76 (1:72)

Hey Martin. It happens sometimes but you've gone all the way with a fair result, where most people would have thrown it away.

@Cracka might have suggested that once or twice Lode. Old fashioned stubbornness got me to the end.
The kit itself is decent, I just had some tough luck.
Panel lines are different between the wings and the fuselage. Decal placement is difficult as there are panel lines shown in the instructions, which aren't on the model. But the biggest problem is the decals themselves. They're just too thick and no amount of softener helped me.

I would have not exactly throw it away.... at least not without smashing it to pieces on my bench before that. You should be proud of how you did not get discouraged, and finish it no matter what. Well done Martin!!

It's a great looking finish despite the troubles it may have given you along the way, so well done for persevering👍
The F-86 (along with MiG-15) is high on my todo list as well at some point (in 1/48) and I have had a similar experience with an Italeri F-14 that I started several months ago that has sapped any and all enthusiasm to want to put it back on the bench and finish.

That is what this easy build was supposed to do!!!
Anyway, thank you gentlemen for your kind words. I also have a MiG-15 to build, but in 72nd.
