Build log: 1/144 HG GM Cold District Type
Assembled the kit. It is a very simple kit so the assembly was very quick.
Seamlines are huge, so excess runners are dissolved in cement to serve as filler.
Sawed parts for easier painting.
Remove seamlines, used pla plate and melted sprue to fill up the gaps.
Ankles redone for painting.
Used pla-plate to add detail on leg missing on the HG kit.
Separated into easier to paint components.
Used plastic sprue to join ankle armor.
Used combination of putty and melted sprue to clean up seam lines.
Sawed chest area off and made chest area easier to paint.
Primed to check mistakes.
More priming done on areas.
Used airbrush for white and dark green, handpainted the light green portion.
Used plastic sprue to remove seamline.
Masked the visor and primed the part.
Shield is one of the cleanest parts I have done though I did not use it in final photos.
Most of hip area completed.
Assembled chest area.
Added head, backpack and one of the arms.
Most of upper torso is complete.
Completed product.
