Build log: 1/100 MG Gundam X (anime shading concept)
Concept artwork for Gundam X, to work out reflections, shaded areas, and other general lines.
As built, reason for choosing this kit is the simple surface detail compared to most MGs, it's probably my favourite Gundam in terms of design due to its asymmetrical design, and also the proportions are the nicest.
Taken apart for painting
Tested the shading concept before actually painting.
Zeon MS Gray used here, and with lining, so far so good.
Used Gunze/Mr Hobby Engine Gray as a darker tone.
