30MM Spinatio (Army type) Equipment snap build.

Add-on parts included in the Army Type kit is being readied.

Shoulder Armor assembly. It requires replacing the shoulder joint parts with slightly longer ones.

Shoulder part assembled with the arm.

Mech with shoulder armor attached.

Faceplate assembly.

Two sets of knee armor is provided in the kit.

I went with the armor without a hole. If you want to attach something to the knee then you can use the ones with holes in it.

Breastplate

Breastplate added.

Parts for waist & back armor.

Waist armor attached. It gives you one more pair of hard point for attaching accessories with C joint.

Well, additional armors doesn't affect the articulation.

Parts for weapons.
Shield, a rifle, and a sword is provided.

With the weapons attached.

The sword can be stored on the back.

But if you let the mech use the sword rifle has nowhere to go.

So I took out the "Hand Parts & Multi-Joint" option parts set.

The option kit gives you various joint parts for adapting various accessories.

I'm going to try using these two.

With male-to-male 3mm adaptor you can attach the rifle on any of the 3mm holes on the mech.

It goes on the back. Looks very natural.

You can also use the 3mm-C joint adaptor.

It goes on the hip. But it doesn't look as good as rifle on the back.

That adaptor comes with the "Spinatio (Army Type)" kit. I thought it was unused junk part but it is perfect for this occation.

Using the adapter, sword can be worn on the hip.

"Reaching for the sword" pose.

The mech has very good articulation so it can be posed very naturally.

"Scratching his back" pose?!?

No he's reaching for his rifle.

You can even use the grip hand and it reaches the rifle perfectly.

Draw your gun!!!

Ready for action!

Rifle is made from only two parts but quite detailed.
I think if I paint it with some colors, it'll look very good.

Adaptor piece was left behind on the back.
