This kit from Trumpeter is kind of oddly constructed, a mixed bag so to speak. You have the original vehicle, without the Kontakt-5 armor, but new tracks. On the hull rear you are supposed to add replacement tracks of the old type for it. So it makes absolutely no sense. In the kit are actually all the parts to build the modernized version, but these are partially not finished. So you have the matching contact 5 armor for the hulls front, but this has no details.
So I had to modify the normal T-90 Kontakt-5 armor a bit. Exactly the same way the new cable routing had to be rebuilt from plasticcard. I didn't add the side armor, only the corresponding holder for it. My model will represent a vehicle just coming from training. For this reason, I also had to modify the launcher. In the kit this is filled with rockets, but I wanted one with empty tubes. I drew the parts in 3D and printed them out. I will post the pictures eventually on the weekend.

Ingo FWill post the pictures of the assembled model this weekend. It is almost completed. Since I want to represent a vehicle from a training, the rocket tubes should be empty. But this is not possible with the kit. The tubes are shown loaded. Have the appropriate parts and the empty tubes drawn in 3D and printed out.
