Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb
As usual I start by making the box more user friendly
Ready.
I`ve been using revell paints because I have them and I like to complicate things.......
Now I need an acrylic clear coat to use enamel wash....... Its a lot of fun ?
No extras here. Kit decals.
revell metalic collors are .......different ?
This project is moving slowly. Let`s see how the fit is from now.
Back and front bottom of the fuselage added first to help the fit of the wing
OK
good
Not bad either
There it is........Revell mark ?
The same on the other side......
How am I gonna solve this.....
I think I manage to cover the gaps....
I´m now ready for some primer to check for surprises
Also look better this side
I´m expecting some suprises around here.......The magic primer will reveal it. The two outside guns were removed. I will use some brass tube to replace.
Meanwhile once again I couldn`t resist and got the Montex stencils......Although the decals are good or even excelent compared with other brands nothing can compares with painted markings.
Let`s go and use some primer.

Big leap forward but nothing really interesting to watch. Just painted the model with gloss black which is better to handle and its one less coat of gloss varnish prior to the decals.
Anyway I didn`t use any decals. Only on a late stage I notice this black version has no stencils at all
All the marks were painted using the Montex stencils
Some retouches to make
Finnished after the matt coat
No antenna wire.....from the pictures and info aquired this one doesn`t have it. I might be wrong but I can fix it anytime.
Here it is, the real one. I believe there was no rope on the antena of this one.
Dont follow the profile. The reg nr its gray not red
And also do not follow the instructions regarding the position of the markings. They are all wrong
