Refurbish Antique Chieftain Kit

Album image #1
The EBay rescue.

Album image #2
Luckily, the seller took some decent photos of it!

Album image #3
Besides a few lugs and grab handles, I think it is complete.

Album image #4
Apparently, the Tamiya instructions at the time were a little vague on where to put the exhaust muffler! LOL

Album image #5
The parts not yet in the Purple Power. Yes, that is the original Tamiya electric motor. Only managed to break off one road wheel axle. I'll call that a WIN!

Album image #6
The rest of the parts in the Purple Power, along with the deck from a 16 inch Monogram USS New Jersey that I hope to finish stripping sometime this millennium...

Album info

Just seeing what I can do for this old thing without spending a gazillion dollars! LOL Going to use some spare decals from the newer Tamiya kit and maybe some leftover parts from my Takom Mk 5P. I want to try to keep the rolling tread WORKING!
