Paint in the ASS.
Hardly any paint colour call outs in the instructions.
Many mold lines gives me Advanced Sanding Syndrome.

Do you know the production date on this truck? It looks like an older vehicle.

I guess late '70s, early '80s
I found a tipper for sale from '85. Only €13500 😄

i have build the same truck in my youth; it is a nice kit; what color do you need for the frame? Rustprotect color or black? in the past were the sprues colored.

Welcome guys!
Thomas, I'm leaning towards black fir a custom paint job.
James, I also have the Aussie truck. Also intending to build that one with a custom paint job.

Finishing already started kits can be highly satisfying. So, I took another already started one. Not as ancient as the Stranraer or Hind, but hey, I'm on a roll!

Italeri truck kits come with factory applied anti-fouling. No need to rush paintwork 😉
Lode, I want to recreate a livery from G. Snel transport, see pic 10. They seemed to be everywhere when I was a kid. Or they might have supplied the supermarket around the corner.

Thank you Thomas. I knew it was a different type, just not which. The picture was only to show the livery. I don't even know if a Formel 6 was used in that livery, but I will 😄

I will try spanjaard. Working on the rims. Must be a generic sprue as there's a lot of cleanup to do in tight spaces. Even then it is less than satisfying
