AREA 88: "Rocky's Arrival" (DC-03)
1July 29, 2018First things first... drill out the windows.
2July 29, 2018Windows and door opened up. Time for a dry fit.
3August 2, 2018Interior painted black to add depth and the windows glued in place with white glue.
4August 2, 2018Fuselage all glued together. As always, some seams showing.
5August 5, 2018Still a few gaps at the seams, so it looks like it's back to the sanding board.
6August 5, 2018Hmm... the bottom still needs work too.
7August 8, 2018After lots of putty, sanding, repeating, painting and then polishing... we have a shiny plane!

9August 8, 2018Engines installed and first coat of future applied... and hairspray!
10August 9, 2018Green paint on... doesn’t look too bad from this angle...
11August 9, 2018Hmmm... we may have a masking problem... or three...

15August 12, 2018Crafting up some new “in flight” propellers.

19August 19, 2018I had an idea to use glue for the windows, but I want them to dry convex so it needs to dry upside down.
