Academy 1/72 KF-21 Snap build completed

1. Build process is very easy and nice. All parts fits perfectly without any modification.
Parts are engineered in clever ways to minimize seam lines. Except intake area, there is almost no serious misaligned parts.
(I'd guess intake area would be perfectly fixable if you use cement. I didn't because I intent to take it apart and partially paint them)
2. Stickers have transparent matte film on top of them. I took them off from some of the stickers so that it's thickness can be reduced.
You can see the gloss finish of those stickers. (mainly stickers on the side of the cockpit.)
3. They give you alternate parts for "in-flight" (wheel up) mode and it actually fits really nicely. (not pictured)
4. If you manually cut out the stickers (like I've done with the camouflage patterns) it looks much nicer.
FIY this kit is part of Academy's MCP kit line-up, which is geared toward easier build while retaining somewhat passable exterior.
I'd say "Modeler's edition" of KF-21 will come later with better details and waterslide decals. (And need for cement usage.)
