If the protective paper is stuck to Decals...
DON'T pull it away it can rip the Decal beyond repair.
Damp the paper over the decal, (don't saturate it, a bit of spit on your finger will do the trick,)
Leave it a few seconds then gently peel the paper away using a damp paint brush.

Use the paint brush between paper and decal as you're peeling the paper back...
Stops the paper residue on decal and helps ease the peeling!!!

Just remembered, don't make protective paper too wet.
As you don't want the decal coming away from the backing paper.
It's very similar to those old Protar decals, if you remember them...
