I personally would have toned the ribbing down a bit. The contrast seems a bit excessive to me, but it is impressive. Certainly a lot of work went into this, with fantastic results.

This is the ancient kit from 1959 - with only a few minimal improvements! I wanted to preserve the original character of this classic and put all my efforts in painting and weathering.
A bit of detail was added to the cockpit section and plenty of lost rivets were replaced with 3D-Decals from archertransfers. Painted with the AK Real Colors "WW2 RAF Temperate Sea Scheme" Set. All clear part details were created with decal stripes.
