Hehe James. Same here. 😄 I don't know what's gotten into me but i have an urge to build T-72 tanks. 🙂
I think a few more will follow after this one. Thinking of T-72BM or maybe T-72B3 from MENG. I dont know. I really love this tank as it is my favorite coldwar/modern tank.

Seems you get enough time at the bench anyway 🙂
Making nice progress here👍
Trumpeter tanks build up quite nicely.

Hull is almost finished. Only the cage armour is missing. It takes some time to clean up each of the pieces from the bar armour. Four are done, seven to go. The fenders are not glue to the hull as i will take them down for painting. Same goes for the bar armour as they are all green and do not have any camo sheme on it.

Thank you guys for your kind comments and welcome Murad. 🙂
@James: Yeah it will be the same camo as on the project/kit box picture. Its the only camo that exists for this vehicle. As far as i know only one T-72B was upgraded with this amour package in 2006 and is used for test and demo purpose.

Build is finished. Wiring for the smoke discharger were scratchbuild. Could not find any clear shots of the turret without the Nakidka protection system. Therefore i had to use some pictures of the T-72B Rogatka conversion build from a russian modeller. 🙁

Oh almost done😉 very cool, turret looks really busy. I agree with James, really tidy work applying all that brass. I usually have ca glue showing at every edge😄😉

Thank you Rene. 🙂 The small PE parts are not a problem the bigger are. If i have to fold something like a box out of the PE parts i aways need a tone of glue so the parts will stay together. Time to try out soldering the bigger parts instead of gluing them.

Thank you James and Dan. 🙂
@James: I stoped myself from building new models until i have finished the ZSU, T-72, Leopard and the figures from Type 10. 😄 .... Its a realy hard time for me now.... Want to build something but have to resist. 😄
@Dan: This is a mix of different colors. Base green ist XB 518 Zashchitniy Zeleno from MIG. Grey Yellow is from AK REAL COLORS Russian Greyish Yellow and Black is Tamiya NATO Black.
If you want to use Tamiya colors for the green, you have to mix it. You can read about it here: blitz72.com/2012/12/..-4-t-72b-model-1989/
Have not used it yet but will try this color mix for my T-72 Mod 1990 in the near future.

Another great tank from Ingo... You've certainly been busy!
The slightly dusty look with some minor wear here and there turned out superb. 👍
Do you use a bending tool for bigger pe parts?

Great job. Lots of PE there, bit scary, but youve nailed it. Just reading new osprey book on T-90 and they speak of this version, like it a lot and youve done great job. Well done

Yeah more compact soviet tanks with interesting camo schemes 👍
The small one is already enough for parts like fenders etc? 🤔 nice. Might throw one in with the next order of paint. 🙂

You will see more russian stuff after the Tiger 1 build. Hmm maybe TOR or SAM-6 system or TOS-1 or Terminator. 🤔 😄
