That weathering looks awesome. What technique did you use? Just oil paints?

Thank you all for your likes.
For me, this time is also an experiment. It's my first time to build a kit like this way.
I'm looking for a quick way to save time while I'm busy at work.
This time I didn't use primer or do pre-shading.
I airbrushed whole fuselage with the main color.
Then refer to photos, hand brushed the darker and lighter colors to create difference.
I think this make the shade effect.
Until this process, only water-based acrylic paint had been used.
In the #13~#15 pictures shown, I have used Mr. Weathering's black to create the panel line.
Yesterday, I covered the plane with mat varnish, I found that the contrast became smaller.
I think I should increase the contrast before the mat varnish in the future.
My weathering process is not over yet.
Oil paints, color pencils, etc. may be used to enhance the effect.

Nice weathering, we can clearly see that you worked closely with photos references. What did you use for the main color ?

Hi, Romain. I mixed that color by myself. I selected a photo as reference and mixed grey, blue, black and white to approach the photo.

Final picts are top-notch, so as the model in itself ! Damn, I've got the same kit waiting in stash, but you set the bar high !

Romain, you are so modest. I have watched your B-26. It is incredible. I love your MiGs, too.
Cuajete, I painted and used self-made decals for the Skyray.
