Few cars carry the weight of a legacy quite like the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, the original ‘Godzilla’ that stormed onto the scene in 1989. Dominating Group A racing and earning a reputation for unbeatable performance, the R32 rewrote the rules for JDM cars and cemented itself as one of the most iconic imports of all time.

For this group build, I was assigned SMS Pearl Blackcurrant for the body, giving it a unique yet menacing finish. The wheels, painted SMS Dark Bronze, and the engine, detailed in SMS Gold, add subtle but striking contrasts. The only extra addition is the photo-etched hood structure, adding a layer of realism. Whether on the track or in the garage, the R32 remains the ultimate tuner’s dream and a cornerstone of car culture.
