1/24 Hasagawa Lancia 037 1984. Cleaning up the 3D printed resin GPModeling engine bay cage. It's very nicely detailed, but as fragile as an eggshell. Hopefully I don't smush it up trying to build it all. I'm thinking towards opening the doors too, that way I can do a full maintenence scene, with the wheels off, bonnet, boot and doors open, so you can see everything. I've also got the GPMODELING 3D printed resin front cage, suspension and wheel set to add, and the hobby design PE set. So it should be a really interesting model to look at.

Free'd the front nose cage from its 3D support girders. This will look very nice when built up. The kit has the spare wheel, a full set of replacement wheels, hubs, bolts, jack, battery and full suspension and steering system and full radiators. Also a new firewall, with full details. Allegedly the wheels can even turn... we shall see.

Oooh, it's going to look nice. Free'd the bulkhead and spare wheel. Lovely crisp detail. It'll pop when painted with added brake, electric and radiator pipes, wiring. Wish it was a larger scale than 1/24 though.

It's a really interesting project(so as it would have be as OOB-building)

I have made a start on the front end of the 037. Clean up takes a while, but paint should be speedy. I'll be adding electrical wires too as I go. But for today that's it.

Not a huge amount done today, I've finished the water cooler and oil radiator, steering rack, right side wheel hub, Abarth-Brembo brakes, brake disc and the Bilstein gas and spring shock absorbers. Set up areas for plumbinh and electric wiring too. Looks nice so far.
